Friendly edit my friend Lt Col Charlie Brown I believe this should read 'Lockdowns Not Linked With [GOAL OF LOWERING] COVID Death Rates'
1. Broad lockdowns have minimal linkage to reducing deaths linked to COVID primarily or secondarily.
2. Quarantining of infected folks through the incubation period could benefit those closest to them.
3. Sadly the expanded lockdowns seem to be focused on limiting ability to gather [doesn't apply to radicals such as BLM and Antifa folks don't obey laws anyway] for freedom-loving people.
4. Radical socialists want to herd us like lemmings. Stand up for your 1st an 2nd amendment rights is the advice I would offer.

The "modern" jouralist forgets a lot of context reqarding death. They've forgotten that they themsleves predicted baby boomers dying en masse beginning after the turn of the century long before the china virus. Also, the UN isn't reporting a "hockey stick" increase of deaths in the US or across the world while in the throws of a chinese created pandemic.

Deaths are projected at 3.6 million in 2037, 1 million more than in 2015. As boomers age, deaths will rise every year, reaching a peak in 2055.

Cpl (Join to see) - The peak in 2055 will be because the youngest among us will be 91 by then, and our life expectancy is currently at only 79 years of age. So by then we will be 12 years past our 'use by date.' ;-)
