Its like we willingly put on blinders the last four years at all the foreign contacts from China to Russia to Saudi Arabia to other Middle East contacts that profited from access to the Trump Admin through the Trump Org.

MAJ James Woods the defense is because to erase history is to doom us to repeat it. I have no love for Confederate memorabilia but I believe it should be maintained. It IS our history. I grew up in New England and really don't understand why you would take pride in being on the losing team. Here in Tennessee people have no love for that history. I'm use to seeing preserved battlefields and historic homes. There's none of it here.
I grew up in Connecticut and had no idea what the civil rights movement was about because there was no racism. Now I live in Tennessee which is not racist but left racist Connecticut because everything bad came in with the blue. All of this garbage about politicians switching parties is just that, garbage. There was a shift in population and beliefs. I watched it happen in Connecticut. What was a well functioning melting pot is racist hell now.
I was raised an independent and woll die one. I lean right more and more every day but that is from doing what my parents taught me, watching and listening. I was taught to go with the side that was closest to my beliefs and values. I will never support a party that has fully embraced socialism. It goes against the oath I took when I enlisted and against the values my parents, who survived the depression and WWII, taught me. My father even survived being a Red Sox fan and never seeing them win a series. He was a principled and tough dude.
