You have to give this man a lot of credit. Spent 17 years in, got out and decides at 59 he want to get his retirement so has to do basic training all over again.

At 59? I am with Mark on this. At 50 fine, even 55 but 59?

He can outdo some of those 18yr olds, because he knows half is mental challenge, which he’s got plenty of life experience. I commend him on his goal.
