What an incredible find. I am going to make the strong assumption other archeological sites are waiting for human eyes to gaze upon them. I was young and ignorant when I took an Ancient Art class as an elective. The professor was a cute blonde female professor but that is another story.

I went into the class with a preconceived notion that ancient Egyptian art was crude. I was absolutely wrong. Their art and monuments depicted disproportionateness. Little did I know they aspired to symbolize a sense of strength and eternity. I mean what better way than huge pyramids?

The coup de grace for me was looking at pictures of King Tutt's death mask. Artisans made it 3,000 years ago. In the masks the artists put various emotions apropos to a king who departed earth. They put confidence, contentment, wonderment, and wisdom in that mask. It completely blew me away and ushered in a moment where I had to admit I was ignorant and that mask represented the genius of such a fine piece of art.
