If you want proof, just ask a never-Trumper what actions The Trump administration should have taken but didn't. Should not have taken, but did. Did take, but took too late. And what were the events that should have triggered the administration. You'll get crickets chirping, or complaints about his rhetoric; NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING about the actual use of federal power and assets.
I've posed the question to many of the President's critics on here RP. If I get a response, the "go to" response is that I am a racist, fascist, bigot.

Maj John Bell he didn’t close it quickly enough coming from Europe and they proved that was where our problem came from

PO2 Bill Reardon - What date should President Trump have closed travel from Europe to the US? What was the event in Europe that should have triggered a travel ban from Europe?

Maj John Bell What day could he close the borders to all entry? How about what day he could’ve stopped travel from designated countries that were high risk? Using same logic as his Muslim travel ban it’s not far fetch to see he could’ve declared non-US citizen travel from identified countries until they prove they contained the threat. But do go on how that’s not possible.
Which CDC experts were ignored? You tell me since nowhere in my argument did I suggest any disease experts were ignored. You’re just changing topics. I said the travel restrictions put in place didn’t actually restrict travel.
I already answered your second question in previous comments. You just can’t justify any effective actions this administration took within the first 30 days of positive cases on US soil. You named a few actions but none of them were effective. Appreciate the discussion but you’re using circular logic pushing a false conclusion.

MAJ James Woods - The seven countries listed in the "Muslim Travel ban" account for something in the neighborhood of 30% of the world's Muslims. Travel was not going to be restricted on the basis of religion, but on the perceived threat organizations within those countries and the inability for travelers from those countries to be properly vetted.
What European countries are you speaking of? and what were the number of COVID-19 cases that were reported on the date when you think President Trump should have closed the border.
The first European cases (3) were identified on January 24th. The CDC began screening January 17th, 7 days before, starting with the three most heavily used international ports of entry and adding more as more screening teams became available.
The first 195 Americans were repatriated on January 29th. They were screened in Anchorage, then again on arrival in California. They were held for observation for three days, then told to self-quarantine for 14 days. The World Health Organization still had not declared a Global Health Emergency.
I'm sorry but you have not answered my second question. Let me repeat it.
What was the SPECIFIC EVENT that should have, but failed to trigger that response [Closed the Borders]?
What day did any European Country become high risk? When you state someone screwed something up, it is kind of incumbent on you to have some specifics. If not you're just some guy with perfect 20-20 hindsight.
