Starting in 1965, summer after summer, America's cities burned. There was civil unrest in more than 150 cities across the country. So in 1967, Lyndon Johnson appointed a commission to diagnose the root causes of the problem and to suggest solutions. What the so called "Kerner Commission" returned with was hotly anticipated and shocking to many Americans. This week, how that report and the reaction to it continues to shape American life.

Some of this still exists and some does not. Making people into lifelong victims has never helped.

lol No Capt Gregory Prickett, the Senate DID their job... the HOUSE and Democrats and general failed to do theirs. Then again they have been whining about Trump winning since November of 2016.

Prickett with all due respect Trump isn't part of the solution but exposed it! It's been in hiding remotely in American cities since the early 2000s. Occupy wallstreet was just one of their many movements to disrupt every day lives of Americans.

Capt Gregory Prickett - Then why would a Nazi-turned-Communist who has stated. on record, that he wants to destroy America not be considered in the mix when he has contributed mega-bucks to the Democrats. That's fact, not theory.
