How much of that is going on? Traitors abound in government from low to high

Wow. Doesn't say much for the folks doing background checks.
“I cannot forecast to you the action of Russia. It is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma; but perhaps there is a key. That key is Russian national interest.” Winston Churchill (1939-10-01)

Just noted that, I know how deep they looked into my background for my TS(SI), long ago. My proctologist agrees.

MCPO Roger Collins - Interesting that this was after you and I both were off of active duty. This one should have been an easy one, but shows that there were multiple errors in route to the end point.

SSG Robert Webster Our current problem is TS and SPECAT is given to way too many people. I doubt they are scrutinized like we, and our families were. Also, too many to keep watch over. Of the approximately 140 men on our submarine, only a couple dozen had TS (SI) clearances.

MCPO Roger Collins - Looking at this, I wonder how much more malfeasance was swept under the rug during the Obama Administration? Or even the George W. Bush administration. Notice any parallels with other Russian actors of late?
Honestly it scares me that our intelligence services are becoming bigger and bigger failures as time goes on.
