Costa Rica one of the most beautiful places on the earth, and one of the most dangerous places on the earth also, I've been there and seen both sides of it.

GySgt Thomas Vick, I was oblivious to the dangers. The people are nice and very friendly. The only creatures from the video I saw down there were howler monkeys, toucans and a Jesus lizard -- fortunately. Had I run into those snakes I might never go back.

Did some “Zip Lining “ a few years ago in Costa Rica ,talked into it by my daughter,quite an adventure seems the local government doesn’t have any OSHA requirements,you literally fly by the seat of your pants high over jungle ravines,rappelling off tree top platforms,crossing over gorges by way of swaying wooden and cable foot bridges,then took a jungle walking tour that had me flashing back to Southeast Asia,will defer on my lovely daughters next excursion!

SGT Philip Roncari, my only serious adventure down there was Whitewater rafting on the Pacuare River -- named by National Geographic as one of the top ten rivels in the world. That was a hot. I also took an excursion on a different river that was not much more than the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland -- other than it was read and lasted a lot longer.

Cynthia Croft - I did not realize Australia had such beautiful whitewater rafting. Maybe I should add that to my bucket list. Australia is already on it. There are a lot of things I want to do in Australia. I must be the only person alive who dreams of someday making it to Surfers Point. Prevelly, WA, Australia. I guess the first thing is to get down under. I've never been to the Antipodes, Africa or Antarctica -- but one of these days...
