Tucker Carlson is an asshole who isn't fit to shine anyone who's served shoes. Where does he get off questioning somebody's patriotism when he hasn't worn the uniform? I have zero time or respect for any political hack who hasn't served or worn the uniform.

Service is not required to have an opinion, when someone uses their Service for political gain and does something stupid they should be called out like anyone else. Sometimes the truth is rude, obnoxious and callous but its still the truth.

1SG Dennis Hicks her politics are fair game to anyone with a voice. Maybe I’m just especially sensitive to a generational rich boy who has never worked outside of the media in his life calling a disabled veteran a coward for any reason.

SFC Thomas Foreman and time be clear he somewhat did comment on her service, referring to her combat injury as “was once injured while serving in the national guard”

SFC Thomas Foreman - I watch very little TV these days and I have zero trust in honesty for 99% of those reporting/Opinionating on TV or SM. This is why it is very important to veto those we hero worship and believe they can do no wrong. Once they get involved with politics they become indoctrinated and have to swim with turds in a cesspool so they all smell the same after a while. I don't have an honest answer on how to fix it, mostly sarcastic responses. The only way to even begin to fix this is for people to wake up and pink slip the lot of them.

1SG Dennis Hicks I have, several times in my life, voted for character over position. I would much rather, as Hamilton did with Jefferson, be represented by someone who I disagree with but feel has integrity. A slime ball who tells me what I want to hear is still a slime ball.
A good example of this is my state’s current Lt governor, Jon Fetterman. I disagree, sometimes significantly, with many of his positions but the man has put his time, money, and personal safety on the line for his beliefs. I respect that, and I’ll support him based on that.

Service doesn't necessarily mean a person has good character. We can celebrate service and sacrifice, but that doesn't negate poor character when out of uniform. We know plenty of former service men and women who have been horrific people before, during and after their service to our country. Her oath was to the US Constitution, but she chooses party loyalty which favors the extremist of that party.
