A bit of wishful thinking there. Trump is a very polarizing figure who's loyal following isn't enough to win him an election. In 2016 the right centrists and unaffiliated people gave him a chance but he's long since alienated them. The only thing he had left to pull them in was the economy but his lackadaisical response to COVID-19 tanked that and cost him is only real selling point to anyone outside of his core followers.
Even this protest issue, it's pretty much only his core voters who care and he already had their votes.
