Well it looks like we were just too irresponsible to open back up. There is a reason we became the epicenter for COVID-19. We can't even take personal responsibility to wear masks because as a society we are just too dang selfish.

It might have had something to do with tens of thousands of people in the streets protesting and rioting etc. not social distancing, wearing masks, staying home etc. since about June 1. You are right, we have a lot of irresponsible people in this country. We have seen them in their full glory for weeks now.
