Yes she does have a right to peacefully protest and she probably could have stayed outside without too much trouble. However, they could have been just as concerned for her safety inside with that message on her shirt.

SGT (Join to see) No, you do not have the right to protest at a rally on private property, they have the right to exclude anyone by any criteria they please.

CPT Lawrence Cable - Do you have the right to wear your clothes to an event you paid to attend? If someone wore a MAGA hat or shirt to a restaurant, does the restaurant have he right to remove or deny them?

SGT (Join to see) No, fund raisers are private events and the is no right to protest. The sponsor can make any rules the like. Trump events issue tickets, but they are typically free (and over issued), but regardless, can make any rules of admission they like.

Capt Gregory Prickett Where I live you get issued a trespassing warrant the first time. You only get arrested if you come back a second time and there's no evidence of a warrant or coming back in this piece.

Question is whether a campaign rally is a private or public event. Since it requires tickets I'd guess it's a private event and as such the organizers can deny access for any reason they want. Problem is she was arrested while protesting outside and not inside the event. Then again she was told this wasn't going to be like those other places!
