IG investigating Air National Guard’s use of recon planes to monitor protests

My only takeaway from this story is: "Is it illegal?" Conducting an IG investigation implies it is illegal yet according to the article such usage in support of DEA and CBP activities at the border has been acceptable. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.
