Sad state of affairs when we need all healthcare workers we can get on the front lines right now.

Maybe it's time to cut the salaries of all the white coorstaff in the big offices of these hospitals, instead of laying off those that take care of the patients.
Thankfully, I am out of that rat race. Now I work for free, taking care of those that don't qualify for Medicare or medicaid and can't afford insurance.
I don't begrudge hospitals the right to make money, but instead of paying inflated salaries to those in the boardrooms, keep the ones that take care of the patients.
