On May 5, 1891, Music Hall (Carnegie Hall) opened in New York with Tchaikovsky as guest conductor. He conducted the Marche Solennelle. Several days later he conducted his Piano Concerto No. 1.

Thank you my friend SGT (Join to see) for posting Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto Number 1, Opus 23 performed by pianist Anna Fedorova and the Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie conducted by Yves Abel ' in The Royal Concertgebouw Amsterdam.
Excellent performance of a stirring piece of music.
