It was intense to say the least, CB. My therapist and I have been working on this now for a couple of years, and I still cannot let go and allow myself to grieve the loss of my son or my dad. She suggested that I start journaling; for me, that seemed like a waste of time because I would be the only one to see it or read it, and for me that would be the end of what I wrote, not helping anyone else, so I started writing my blog, hoping that at least one person may benefit from my experiences. Thank you, Ma'am.

SFC Richard Williamson there's a technique called "empty chair" that might help. Talk with your therapist

We've probably talked about it before, but I will most definitely ask her. I'm visualizing what "empty chair" and it sounds a little intimidating. I'm willing to try anything even if it has even a remote possibility of working. Thank you, CB.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - That was my reason for sharing this, CB, and I wrote this when I first found Rally Point, but I had no clue what RP was all about.
