As the "gambler" said, "You have to know when to hold, know when to fold..." My first wife wasn't this psycho but there had been warning signs I should have heeded. Of course, I fell into that old trap, "My love will conquer all" and "I can fix her." Well, it couldn't and I couldn't. Still, that being said, I didn't want to stay single and am forever grateful I didn't. Forty-three years into my second marriage and not even the stresses of quarantine can dim the love and respect we have for each other.

Congrats Jack and a Salute to your fine Lady... All of us raise a toast to those that find the 10%ers and you have. I have seen so many completely torn apart via not learning these warning signs. My goal is people like yourself can be the Mentors for the younger men coming up through.

This just doesn't happen overnight, the signs are always there, batshit crazy doesn't make for a stable relationship, This guy staying their going ouch isn't helping it either, he should have just left. While I am no mental health professional, she is a whack job that will kill you in your sleep.

PO3 (Join to see) - I don't know about that, I was Married 3 times, married the same nutcase twice, learned my lesson later in life and popped smoke on her, had her served the papers in a box of white roses as a big F-U for what she did. #3 is a keeper mostly because she puts up with me no matter what idiotic thing I do :) She is not helpless, thinks for herself and raised our 4 boys to be fine young men ( I was away a great deal)
