US sending military police to San Diego border due to possible changes to 'Remain in Mexico'...

The problem is is that due to Posse Comitatus the military police may not be used to enforce civilian law. The decision to use law enforcement believe it or not in my opinion should have caused the u.s. Coast Guard to move onto land because they do have civilian law enforcement authority. Besides being trained and Drug interdiction they are also trained in illegal alien introdiction. But I don't run the military.

My guess is that they are there to prevent a massive run on the check point.
