Back in the 1970's there was a Television series where famous people were "Roasted" in front of a live audience... This is but one of the skits where Foster Brooks roasted the late Don Rickles...There are some great people at the head table that include Dean Martin, Lorne Greene, Don Rickles and many more celebrities...

Foster Brooks was real class act and he even voluntarily on his own stopped doing the drunken guy skit once it was no longer funny (society changed) and he moved onto something else (I think narration or radio). He could have stuck with it and milked it for all it was worth but he was too respectable a guy to do that and just dropped it and moved onto something else he said he was grateful for as long as it lasted and he met a lot of famous people because of the drunken guy character......was never bitter or disgruntled about having to leave it behind either.
