If I was to make criticism of Mayor Bloomberg and then you publicize my comments as criticism of Trump in an attack ad, that's not taking something out of context, that is intentional disinformation propaganda. Show me a campaign ad that used intentional disinformation by taking comments from a person and unrelated event to slander Trump and I will gladly say the same thing I said above. An ad where Trump actually said what the ad claims he said about an issue or topic doesn't count.

Isn't intentionally lying called "libel"? So if what Obama said was about someone else and not Biden that should be used against Biden? If something Bush said about someone else and not Trump should that be used against Trump? Do we not understand intentional propaganda disinformation should not be considered acceptable "free speech".

MAJ James Woods however, if we start making decisions on what free speech is based on our biases, we are now entering in a totalitarian mentality where only what we approve is free speech. If someone has a problem because someone is lying about someone else, let them take it to court, but not to stop free speech, but for the liable issue. We MUST stand AND protect the constitution, WHICH WE SWORE TO PROTECT AND DEFEND against all enemies. That includes some saying stupid things. I just wish everyone would fact check all parties and not be so selective.
