I was just reading a commentary on Major Gen. Smedley Butler, who after his retirement was a vocal opponent of American Imperialism/Dollar Diplomacy in the Central and South America, with the comment of how come after 19 years of "Forever Wars" that not one of the Generals of this period have come out against these interventions. You do see it in ranks of Colonel and below. Has the process for selection to the top of the team become so political that it weeds out any of the non complient ones?

Your analogy of the CFO was very, very clear. What we have here keeping your analogy is the CEO and all he wants is accurate information from all of the different departments beneath him. He doesn't want it colored by people's interpretations of his policies or their political leanings. He just wants the crap straight.

I don't blame President Trump for being on the edgy and paranoid side at this point. I hesitate to use that word paranoid but I don't know another word to put in there at the moment. This guy's been hounded for the last four and a half years - from the time he and Melania stepped on the golden escalator. Enough is enough. The man is getting attacked from all sides and his opponent for the White House is notified 30 days before he is of significant intelligence information that conveniently was given to Adam Schiff to leak to the media? What's wrong with that picture?

If I were President Trump I honestly don't know how I would respond. I don't see Adam Schiff as a politician. I actually see him as a traitor. He is doing everything he can to overturn a legitimate election and now making sure the presidents not re-elected. The second part is not treasonous but the first part most definitely seems to be in my opinion.

I also agree that once he's Flag and General officers get into those positions they're politicians. They play by the games of politics and not military protocol. I believe in a well-ordered military with a chain of command and we're supposed to have a chain of command in the political system. But there's so many damn ways around it how can the president possibly be aware from one minute to the next what's going on unless he asks? To be told after a classified meeting that Russia is at it again is crap. After the meeting? Why didn't he know beforehand? That's why Joseph Maguire was fired, at least in part.

Now I am going to go off the rail here with complete and absolute speculation. China wants us out of their ass. We've got them financially by the short hairs and they really don't want President Trump re-elected. They say the way to bring the president down is by destroying the economy he has built. Look at the stock market today on a tear going down to a thousand points. Total speculation here but did China deliberately release a bio pathogen on its own citizens that they knew would grow into a pandemic and crash the stock market so that President Trump I would take the blame? The world economy is based on the US Stock Market. Total speculation. Total conspiracy theory on my part. But it does make me wonder. We've been told for years the next war will not be conventional. Does that mean that we are into the NBC type war that we were trained for but hasn't really hit yet? Go ahead. Tell me I need to see a therapist. LOL. But ask yourself, what if I'm right?
