THE CAV HAD THE .50 CAL. AND THE 7.62 M-60...I'M NOT FAMILAR WITH THE NOMENCLATURE/STATS ON THE M240...THE B.A.R. WAS REPLACED BY THE M60...

The FN M240 G replaced the M60 while i was in in the late '90's. Here is the Wiki on the M240 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M240_machine_gun
