Here in CA, my occasional gardener tells me of sending money to his mother in Mexico and of spending $2000 for annual passes for his children to Disney Land. We do not discuss who pays his medical care!

Immigrants- self supporting that feed their own families and pay their own medical bills-that is what it used to be!

It is quite unfortunate many kids go hungry. The problem probably become more acute as food programs for those living in poverty become more stringent.
