Congress Overrides Pentagon on GI Bill Transfer Rules

Wonder how long this program can stay solvent

Glad for the override

MSgt Danny Hope our men and women who serve are already giving so much. It is tragic for the Pentagon to now want to dictate who they can transfer an earned benefit. And a further slap in the face is increasing the time in service to 16 years is almost like saying if you nearly retire, you can have benefits to further better your life. But there are people living in the country who are not obligated to serve in the US Armed Services, i.e refugees, immigrants, Dreamers, who receive various side programs. The buzz about the draft is rising because those who have volunteered are not being valued. But the draft will certainly eliminate even the fair weather considerations these deserving individuals deserve in hearts. ( not spades).
