Russia's only aircraft carrier catches fire; 6 believed injured and 1 missing

Someone is getting fired (pun intended) for this one.
The Kuznetzov is a floating piece of junk that can barely function and can't leave port without an escorting tugboat for use when her engines inevitably break down.
She burns heavy fuel oil, and the smoke plume from it can be seen for miles. If it wasn't for the prestige involved, Russia would have likely given up on it and scrapped or sold it just like they did with the (now) Liaoning.

We have more aircraft carriers than any military on the planet, however many analysts believe we would lose a war with China or Russia. They are huge and expensive, and very vulnerable to hypersonic weapons, if a true world war should occur. Our enemies may be thinking of the value of these targets.
