Surprised? Not me. And no, I wouldn't waste time arguing with anyone who believes this. You shouldn't either. What's more important is finding a way of taking back our schools. I suggest that we must begin by first shutting down the US Department of Education

Meh. I think the people who responded that way are nuts, but then some Republicans apparently think Trump is a better President than Lincoln was, and I think those people are probably a little nuts too. I don't care enough about it either way to delve into any particulars about why people think that way (assuming they weren't just pulling some polsters' chains), so it's possible that they have some legitimate reasons for answering the way they did. But Obama was a crappy president by many objective standards, and no, it had nothing to do with the color of his skin.
