Two Malaysians have been held at Guantanamo Bay for 13 years, despite never being charged

"Plane attacks" on 9/11/2001? You make it sound as thought the planes flew themselves and killed nearly 3,000 innocent people in a blatant act of depraved terrorism. Regarding your two unlawful combatant Islamist heroes, according to the Geneva Conventions and Law of War, even unlawful combatants may be held "until the end of hostilities." Hostilities have not ended. Al Qaeda and ISIS and other terror groups are alive and well and plotting their next attacks. Only those accused of war crimes are charged or entitled to a trial. Until all Islamists are dead or no longer have the means or will to kill innocent people we must defend ourselves, and the US military detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, is a small but essential piece to the big puzzle of how we win the Global War on Terror.
