"Former Representative" is bitter.
Weird.
Why did he lose his election?
Answer: because he had a bit of taint on him from his lobbying activities before running for office, and because former Governor Charlie Christ ran a better campaign and had a head start (Jolly wanted Rubio's Senate seat until Rubio's Presidential bid fell short) and a once very Republican -leaning district had become much less so when the district boundaries were redrawn.
He seems to have found a second life on MSNBC criticizing Trump as a GOP critic (they love those on that network). I am sure it is lucrative for him.

Capt Gregory Prickett - His past as a lobbyist was a significant campaign issue. Apparently it marked him as an "inside the beltway" kind of guy.
