When I was in the Navy, one of the most rewarding jobs I had when I was the second teammate with whom started the Navy’s first Narcotic Detection Dog School. As a result we supplied 12 Dogs and their handlers to the first 12 Narcotic Interdiction Teams. This was done under the auspices of Admiral Baldwin, COMNAVAIRPAC. We did this within site of the Navy’s Seal BUD’S school on Silver Strand south of North Island NAS. It was a blast.

SSgt Boyd Herrst - no, but we did go the border at Raheem Field and apprehended a bunch of illegals carrying drugs. Using the Star lite scope was a plus.
