The United States Marine Corps' 244th birthday is this Sunday November, 10th.
Founded at Tun Tavern in 1775, the Marine Corps is one of the three original branches of the armed forces founded before America’s independence. The Marine corps has a long tradition of service to our nation, and the team at Marine For Life Network cares deeply about continuing that tradition of service, even after Marines hang up the uniform.

I'll be going to get my usual USMC birthday landing force breakfast of steak and eggs ("Land the landing force!"). Although my heart specialist probably won't like it, I'll probably also celebrate with a gill of black navy rum. Long live the United States and success to the Marines!
