Another Lever this morning that looks good and reads like a great gun. $1200+ to shoot .38spc/.357Mag, don't think so. Maybe in a couple of years I'll find one in a pawn shop for less.

Sgt Jim Belanus - I had two of them. One was a Cowboy Commemorative and the other a LoneStar Commemorative. They were taken in a burglary of my home, along with the rest of my guns. The sad part is I had worked the Midnight shift as a Police Patrol Officer and was asleep in my bedroom.

That's just not fair. Thankfully, we don't have much of that up here. A guy could get shot breaking in here on the prairie

You might have a long wait. I went with Ruger's PC9 and as it's companion the Security 9. Magazines are interchangeable. But a good lever action would suit me better.
