Who knows who makes the best burger ever, SGT John " Mac " McConnell?! They're everywhere! I'll bet people try to immigrate to the United States to eat an American hamburger!
Here's one from Meers, OK. Is it the best? I don't know, but it's good! They're made from longhorn beef, and they're so lean the burger will hardly stay together! They're good and they're huge! Meers Store & Restaurant is only a 30 minute ride from Fort Sill. It's not much more than a crossroads and no one would stop there unless they knew they were headed for some good chow! I think the place has been there since 1901!
I don't know if it's the best burger ever or not, but I'll bet that every cannon cocker that's ever been to Fort Sill has been to Meers for a hamburger!
