Ok...I guess I am in the minority here. I don't give damn if we pull back everything we have and come home. There have been civil wars and atrocities in these countries for as long as they have been countries and even before that. Nothing we do will ever curb or stop that. IMHO...It isn't worth another US service members life...period. I am sick and tired of the US being the worlds police force, forcing our values on other countries. I understand the strategic alliance stuff but that only goes so far. They (insert country here) will take our arms, take our tactics, take our equipment (BTW NATO hasn't done a damn thing about this except spend our money versus thier own), let us train their pilots and other warfighters, and then thumb their noses at us and laugh and do what they want to anyway...pull out and let's see who's laughing now.
