Read a local article here a few weeks ago that law enforcement called his account into question and now he goes AWOL. This is sad to see.

I saw his first TV interview and knew this nut was a lying scumbag, and in newspaper interview he boasted it took him two years to get into the service because he couldn't pass the entrance exam, his drug convictions, and lack of a HS diploma. He claimed to have heard shots in the mall, which never happened, scooped up children, drew his concealed carrier pistol, and exited the Mall. Then he later complained he had PTSD because of being shot at, and all the dead bodies he continued to see when he closed his eyes, yet it was impossible for him to have ever seen a victim of the shooting. Then his SGT Maj get him an Impact ARCOM, without reviewing his 3 fantasy interviews and newspaper articles.
This soldier should have been chaptered out before he had the chance to go AWOL. He is an embarrassment to the Army and the idiots that wrote and signed his award, which should have been immediately rescinded.
In the mist of all the grief and agony this moron was self aggrandizing and using this tragedy to try and get his 15 minutes of fame.
I am glad he is gone.
