Good R.E.D. Friday my RP Brothers and Sisters!
Yesterday, I posted a song by Frank Sinatra titled "My Way"! but what you probably do not know is that the Lyrics to that song were written by a unique individual...an individual who use to rock the stage at American Bandstand back in the late 1950's and early 1960's... That person, that boy back then, was Paul Anka! I am going to post three songs of his over the course of this morning, which will define for you who this man is today, what He has accomplished by sheer determination, sheer talent and let no adversity get in his way to succeed... How many of us can say that we did the same, but maybe down a different path of life?
The first song is I chose to share with you is a short medley to see if you remember him and his early songs... For some of you that may not be possible, but the point here is that in his lifetime, thus far, He was inspired, He was Motivated, He accomplished what He set out to do with his life... My wife and I have been fortunate to see him perform live twice in our lives and He is amazing as a performer and as a person... So I ask you to open your minds and really watch and listen to a young Paul Anka Perform and up to the older man he is today perform...

Diana was one my older cousings played over and over. Put your head on my shoulder has been done by so many others but he did an amazing job. Puppy Love I remember the Jacksons doing it afterwards I think?

Lt Col Charlie Brown - The interesting part of this is that Paul Anka wrote the songs and Lyrics... He was and is an awesome talent as you will see in two more posts... I hope you have a fantastic day, Charlie!
