Trump's own appointees have verified that the individual who was concerned about the President's interaction with the Ukraine president are of grave concern and that the information shared is more than just second hand. That does not stop people from believing just the opposite because of politicians who are not interested in the truth. The truth is irrelevant....just keep repeating the lie and it becomes truth in the minds of many.

Actually Trumps appointees argued if it was an urgent concern and the IG released the accusation without even comparing it to the phone transcript. In fact he stated he didn't even bother to ask for the phone transcript because he thought it would take too long and wanted to avoid exceeding the deadline of reporting the incident. Additionally his verbage was misreported he stated "appears credible" based on the statues guidelines, it was not a firm YES its credible.

Specific excerpts from IG's letter here. He only conducted an informal review.....

ICIG Didn’t Review Ukraine Call Before FWDing Whistleblower Complaint
In a declassified letter from Michael Atkinson, we learn that his investigation didn’t even include a review of the phone transcript at the core of the complaint.

yeah sure, anyways.... how long has the DNC been promising impeachment? Point is, don't get your hopes up. Also, the article is pretty meh. Everyone can see the transcript from the phone call. And if you want, you can watch some fairly biased reporting from certain individuals undercutting journalism. Also Rep Adam Schiff doing parody or lying or whatever you call it now a days. Give it a week or two, usually the media will try to move the fever pitch on to something else.

The DNC hasn’t been promising impeachment. In fact, Democratic party leadership generally hasn’t supported it.
I agree, this article isn’t all that great. But in a week or two, this issue will still be front and center.

SGT (Join to see) - you mean like a failed vote in 2017?

Trump impeachment vote fails overwhelmingly
The measure drew the support of 58 House Democrats.

SSG (Join to see) - yes, exactly like that. The overwhelmingly failed vote that wasn’t supported by Democratic leadership.
To cite from your reference.
“House Democrats overwhelmingly joined Republicans on Wednesday to defeat an attempt to impeach President Donald Trump”.
“Pelosi and her top allies urged Democrats to help bottle up the measure during a closed-door caucus meeting on Wednesday morning.”
Impeachment talk the past several years has come from minor players in the Democratic Party. It certainly hasn’t been supported by the higher leadership, and it assuredly hasn’t been promised by the DNC as a talking point.
How long, exactly, has the DNC been promising impeachment? Oh that’s right...they actually generally haven't supported it. Perfectly evidenced by an overwhelmingly failed vote for impeachment.

Then there is this, I don't pay attention to the article. Read the photocopy of the IG's letter yourselves and match it to how both media and Democrats are reporting the story.
