It will be interesting to see if facts matter in this instance, or if it devolves into the usual retrenchment of tribes to protect their own. I suspect that this will remain hyper-partisan, and the myopia this causes with harden resolve in deep red/ deep blue areas, and leave those in the middle left behind in bewilderment. If there was ever an opening for a third party candidate, we are living in it.
