Thank you for the article. To have and not need is better to need and not have.

Amen to that - its getting nuts outs there. I though some of the home invasion stuff that happened in my neighborhood was bad - now its escalating to kidnapping - criminals are upping their game. A well to do community with a lot of people not having situational awareness makes for a lot of soft targets.

Great Post SGT (Join to see)! I do belong to a gun club/firing range, but I do not carry all the time... I need a few more courses to be comfortable... My holsters (I have three) are all OTB, but should make a move to ITB for better concealment... My current gun of choice is a compact S&W M&P Shield, which I like very much...small, compact (3.1" barrell) and accurate...for defensive purposes... I am an NRA member and get their monthly magazine... Have a great day, Rick!

I have been an NRA Life member for over 54 years. I am currently a Benefactor Member. While working as a Deputy Sheriff, I consistently was a Master Shooter.

Excellent 5 steps. One of the most important is to get involved and be supportive of groups defending our 2nd Amendment rights.
