The number one priority is making sure that they are connected somewhere before they leave service

We can start with the 60% veterans who have no connection to the VA.

We all know the suicide rate without our community is far too high. It will be interesting to see what if the push for the social media hashtag has a way of putting things front and center again. It's not that we are looking for pity but rather understanding of what we are facing. I know we aren't the only community facing such a difficult situation. However, I sometimes wonder if the general public doesn't realize how bad things really hard.
