That could, and probably will become extremely dangerous in a hurry. What if a "red-flag" feature came to RP? Are all gun-owners going to get "flagged"? We already have snowflakes, social-justice-warriors and bleeding-heart-liberals who are advocating for a "Report" button on every post and comment. Would they be the first to "red-flag" someone whose content or opinion doesn't agree with theirs? What next?

I simply ignore content that I find "offensive". Why can't they?

That would be a very dangerous precedent. We are a country of laws, this proposal requires no evidence to seize personal property and void Constitutional rights.
