Los Angeles could fill a list of the top ten most congested highways without looking elsewhere. The fact that they could photograph other highways on their list at times when you can see pavement proves that their choices don't belong on the list. (I believe the one they showed from Los Angeles was still under construction when they photographed it)

The night time glare is troublesome. Mary Ann’s cataract surgery helped, but she too notices night time glare.
I still enjoy driving, but avoid commuter hours when traffic is heavy. For the freeways, my neck develops an ache after 2 hours on the road. Even then, some areas of LA are out of range due to the traffic density! PO1 H Gene Lawrence

Me neither. I suspect that the proportion of drivers who are idiots and/or dangerous is still the same, but there are so many more of them

I drove in NYC once, in the old days, before they had amber lights. When your light turned red, the other direction instantly turned green and they were waiting with their foot on the accelerator ready to GO! Walking there was even worse. I once got caught up in a crowd so dense that I couldn't see my own feet let alone what I was walking on. I didn't realize I was crossing an intersection until a Yellow Cad bulled its way past me in the crowd

CPT Jack Durish - I will pass,thank you. Congestion here in my area is meeting more than a couple of cars on the 8 mile trip to the convenience store. LOL

Seattle's I5 is a standstill over 60% of the day (including the wee hours), same with the 405 on the east side (Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, etc). Now that we are in Florida the I95 absolutely sucks. I would rate those on par with what I saw in the article.
