His comments are not racist imo, but he will take advantage of the outrage of the left.

SPC Kevin Ford - We have reached the point where someone is insulted/offended/pick another word by something that is said/written/tweeted by someone else. And it gets publicity via FB. Regardless of what Trump tweets, he gets attacked by the media so he might as well say what he thinks.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - And I'd argue that is succumbing to our worst nature.
They are going to complain anyway so why be a good person? Well for the most important reason there is of course, to be a good person for no more than the sake of being a good person.

SPC Kevin Ford - This is the "agree to disagree" point. Thank you for engaging in a polite way.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - Absolutely. My parents believe the same about this issue as you and I still visit them for the holidays. ;)

Sure, and there it is. People are willing to accept and use racism if they think it gets them what they want. I'm surprised as most are not so willing to admit it, I suspect because most know that what they are doing is immoral.

Cpl Benjamin Long - The fallacy is making a comparison based on inconsequential traits. Once again, the topic you brought out in your original post is, “hahaha, Trump uses racism as a political tactic and it drives his opponents crazy.” There was no disagreement in to post you linked to or your reposting of it about if he was using racism, only glee that it was an effective political tactic.
Don’t blame the messenger when I pointed out the implications of that. You might want to think about why I had to point out the problem to you instead of thinking of it for yourself.

what you point out is meaningless to me since I posted this article know what my intent is.. and I identifying the lefts use of hitlerum ad reducto to defend their forts.... I am stating the tactics being used and applying my Plan of Attack in accordance with those precepts. Thus you are not explaining anything to me...

Cpl Benjamin Long - As this isn't a private conversation between the two of us I guess you'll have to make the determination on if I'm writing this just for you.
