The media loves to run with the sort of stories that fit their narrative. There is no actual research or journalism being done here. They just find someone with a grievance and let them air it as many times as they like, as loud as they like. The guy she accused called BS on the spot and now she is back peddling, surprise, surprise.
This has become so common, any story of this type is highly, highly suspect.
I might have told her to go to the regular line too. I am sure she thinks the rules do not apply to her, I mean, she is a state representative, she is one of the chosen people.
I love how she has a shirt with the words "Blessed Mama" on it and the shape of a heart as she berates a man she has clearly tried to publically smear for her own selfish gain. Fate loves irony.

I know. It has nothing whatsoever to do with racism. I just did an anger management group with some Vietnam vets; what they told me they said to people who "cut in line" in the supermarket was astonishing and it had nothing to do with racism

Most anger issues deal with little indiscretions than the bigger ones.... like being cut off in traffic, cutting in line, or cheating someone of a minor thing... It's like the dog protecting the bones... why does it snarl when you touch its bone... because it is its bone...

I wish I could find it again, but I read an FBI report saying almost 75% of hate crimes are hoaxes. Hard not to believe it with stories like this and Smollett. The only ones that get hurt by these people's self importance, is the real victims of hate crimes, but, o course, they don't care.

Exactly. They are the "boy who cried wolf" and then all get dismissed as "fake"

How many of these false claims are we going to have before the media actually starts doing what it should do and investigate those claims first. It is a disservice to those who actually have been discriminated against as well. It is becoming harder to know when there is truth to a claim and when it is just another stunt by someone to get some air time and some fame.
