I have said it before, but, I think it needs said again. I see two forms of racism. One treating people differently based upon their race - or assuming thins about another based on their race. The second is considering any statement made that opposes one's point of view to be racially motivated - what you say that I don't like is a racist statement.
Both forms do exist and neither is okay. I do think though that the second has become more prevalent.
