We run a group and we allow people to share how their loved one died and then we try to move them on to more about that person's life. You can't grieve if all you have is the death; what we grieve is the lost life.

I am not "just" grieving the loss of one life, but the very-real loss of five lives, because I lost my whole family when I lost my wife. Now, I have lost my kids, their spouses, and their kids, my grand-kids.

SGT Steve McFarland I have been blessed that no one in my family has taken this route. However, I have three students to suicide, and know friends who have lost their children. Always devastating.

SPC Douglas Bolton It is what is missing from the back of the stone. Her sister falsified the original Death Certificate information, and I had to get that corrected. What was said at her funeral would curl your hair.
