I counsel suicide survivors and they all want to know why. Even when there is a note, it rarely really explains it.

SGT Steve McFarland So sorry you had to face your loss. It takes all the air out of you. I have to help parents how have lost their children, and all they tell me is that had no clue. They probably had many clues but ignored the, ASK!!!

Some clues don't become obvious until after-the-fact. I had two clues that were that way... One was a "prediction", which I dismissed, and I dismissed the other one as an "ordinary inquiry". I sold both items afterwards.
