I think they've already crossed the boundary - most American's see them covering their faces and think what a bunch of wimps. They are going to cross the wrong people and really get their arses kicked. The police need to step up -

Using masks at a protest should be against the law. As pointed out via Amnesty International on several occasions wearing of masks encourages the mob to use violence as it decreases the chances of being caught.

Actions speak much louder than words. If you have no problem condemning the 'Proud Boys', but excuse Antifa's behavior you may want to look in the mirror.
