Closing Gitmo prison, detainee transfer fight renewed in Pentagon budget debate

The Global War on Terror is not over. In my opinion, unless there is solid evidence that an unlawful combatant Islamist is no longer a threat or of any intelligence value and not a suspected war criminal, they need to remain off of the battlefield.
