I was so fortunate. My parents purchased 200 acres of wilderness near the Canadian border we used as our summer home. Every day was an adventure for me. At 10, I always had a yew wood bow in my possession. Later my uncle's 22 Winchester. I still have the place, but only one of my children and her family enjoy it.
