They are non state violence actors so they do not qualify as citizens or as legal combatants. We have not killed them as they would have done to any of us. They are housed and treated better than the average American criminal.

Agreed...they are no state supported extremists and are not citizens. They have no citizenship rights and our constitution does not apply to them. Neither does the Geneva Convention as they are not signatories. However, they are humanely housed and are treated as you say better than our citizen prisoners...they aren't in overcrowded facilities, they are given meals in accordance with their religous beliefs, live in air conditioned buildings, and afforded worship time according to their religion and belief. Look at the ones we released. They went back to join the Jihad and fight again. I am all for keeping them inplace as they will only go back and reignite fires and fight again. IMHO.
